Kabelo, an 11-year-old from Johannesburg South, struggled with hunger and poor concentration in school. Without proper nutrition, excelling in his studies felt impossible.

Everything changed when Kabelo joined the Gogo Care Foundation’s Community Gardens. He learned how to grow his own food, the importance of healthy eating, and how sustainable agriculture benefits families.

Through our educational workshops, Kabelo also developed confidence in school. With access to nutritious meals and a love for learning, his grades improved, and he became a young leader in his community.
